Jonathan Papelbon moves into 1st on Phillies All-Time Saves list

It took a perfect play by right-fielder Jeff Francoeur to save the day, but Jonathan Papelbon managed to lock down his 7th save of the season for the Phillies. The save pushed Papelbon past Jose Mesa for the top spot in franchise history in saves.

Papelbon continues to be a steady source of saves while posting productive ERA and WHIP numbers. Papelbon's save opportunities may not be as bountiful as they would be on another team, but owners should expect him to continue converting them successfully when the chances present themselves.
