Jose Ramirez has option exercised by Indians

Jose Ramirez had his option picked up by the Cleveland Indians for the 2022 season. The option will pay Ramirez $12 million. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)

The Indians picking up the option on Ramirez is quite the bargain for the club. Ramirez had an outstanding 2021 season with the Indians, finishing with a .266 batting average, 32 doubles, 36 home runs, 111 runs scored, and 103 runs batted in.
