Tim Hudson is still going strong at his age. Tonight against a good hitting lineup in the Los Angeles Dodgers he went 6.1 innings without giving up a single run. He gave up five hits and walked two, he also struck out two.

Tim Hudson has pitched well overall on the season. His 4.57 ERA has more to do with his two poor outings than his five solid ones. In those five he pitched 33.2 innings and gave up only 12 earned runs. After tonight, he will have pitched 40 innings only giving up 12 runs for a 2.70 ERA. He also earned his second win of the season and is now 2-3.
