Corey Seager reaches agreement with the Rangers

by Ethan Biddle | Rangers Correspondent | Mon, Nov 29th 4:39pm EST

SS Corey Seager and the Texas Rangers have reached an agreement on a 10-year, $325 million deal, sources tell ESPN's Jeff Passan. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

It's a massive pay day for Seager, who now joins an elite middle infield in Texas with fellow free-agent signing Marcus Semien. It will be interesting to see what the Rangers decide to do with their previous shortstop Isiah Kiner-Falefa, and whether or not they decide to trade him or move him elsewhere in the infield. Nonetheless, Seager will remain a premier fantasy asset in what should be a much more potent offense in Texas.
