James Paxton agrees to one-year deal with Red Sox

Left-hander James Paxton and the Boston Red Sox are in agreement on a one-year, $10 million contract with a two-year club option, according to a report from MLB insider Jeff Passan. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Paxton is an interesting buy-low for the Red Sox, but he has thrown just 21 2/3 innings since 2019 and is not expected to be ready for the start of the 2022 season as he recovers from Tommy John surgery.
