Cuddyer faced one of the best pitchers in the National League this season, and he came up empty as the cleanup hitter. He went 0-for-4 with one strikeout.
Fantasy Impact:
Cuddyer has disappointed the Mets with his paltry .247 hitter, while hitting at the heart of the order. Perhaps, when David Wright comes back from injury, he'll have Lucas Duda and Wright, batting ahead of him. He'll need to turn it around soon, if the Mets hope to contend for a playoff spot.
