The Phillies managed just six hits on Monday in their 6-3 loss to the New York Mets. Carlos Ruiz struggled, going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. Ruiz is 1-for-11 over the last three games and is hitting .243 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Ruiz is still without a home run and has just six extra-base hits for the season. He's carrying an anemic .296 slugging percentage and .315 on-base percentage. Ruiz should see a day or two off this week in favor of Cameron Rupp.
