Adrian Gonzalez hits first home run in three weeks
by Eric Westlund | Wed, May 27th 7:32am EDT
Adrian Gonzalez batted 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run homer in the Dodgers' victory over the Braves on Tuesday. He is batting .344 / .421 / .638 with 10 home runs and 35 RBI in 44 games.
Fantasy Impact:
Gonzalez probably cannot maintain quite this pace on his triple slash, but he's becoming a serious threat to set career highs in all three figures at age 33. His previous best season was .338 / .410 / .548 in 2011, aided by a .380 BABIP compared to his current .363 BABIP for 2015. Either way, Gonzalez is a near-lock for another 25 HR, 100 RBI, 80 run season.
