Miguel Montero reaches bases twice Tuesday

Miguel Montero went 1-for-3 with one walk as the Cubs beat the Nationals 3-2 Tuesday. Montero is carrying a .267/.388/.448 slash line on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
After a hot start, Montero has been slumping recently. The Cubs backstop is hitting only .194 over his last 10 games. He also only has two extra-base hits and one RBI in that stretch as well. Montero remains a decent option in deep leagues but is better suited for the waiver wire in 12-team or smaller fantasy leagues. Until he shows signs of breaking out of his slump, I would avoid Montero in daily leagues as well.
