The Baltimore Orioles have decided to part ways with outfielder Alejandro De Aza. He was designated for assignment on Wednesday to make room on the roster for infielder Ryan Flaherty, who has been activated from the 15-day disabled list after recovering from a right groin strain. (Baltimore Sun)
Fantasy Impact:
Last season Alejandro De Aza had a batting average of .293 in 20 games with the Orioles. He went into a slump this year with .214 in 30 games. The Orioles should consider a trade since De Aza is still owed $3.55 million for the season.
