Zack Greinke again brilliant in no-decision

by Stan Son | Thu, May 28th 12:21am EDT

Zach Greinke limited the Atlanta Braves to three hits over six innings. One of the hits was a home run by Cameron Maybin. Greinke walked two and struck out nine. Unfortunately, the Dodgers offense could only muster one run against Alex Wood so Greinke is saddled with another no-decision. 61-of-97 pitches were thrown for strikes.

Fantasy Impact:

The potential Cy Young season for Greinke continues to chug along. He now sports a 1.48 ERA and 0.87 WHIP. He's struck out 58 batters in 67 innings pitched and the 5-1 record could be much better if the run support was there. He's setting himself up for a humungous payday in the off-season. The only aspect that probably won't put him in the top of the fantasy rankings is the strikeouts. If he could get over a strikeout per inning, he could vie for the top spot. Regardless, he's having an amazing season.
