Brett Lawrie goes long in close win over Yankees

Brett Lawire was able to pick up his first hit since returning to the lineup on a 1-for-4 effort for Oakland. His one hit was a home run that scored two runs. He did not take any walks and he also struck out once.
Fantasy Impact:
Lawrie had struggled in his first two games since missing four days with an injury. He had been riding a five game hit streak before having to leave the lineup and had begun to look like a viable option in some deeper leagues and even a value pick in daily games. Look for him to pick up his batting average, but do not expect many more home runs as he is not a natural power hitter.
