Cubs outfield prospect Pete Crow-Armstrong (shoulder) has been fully cleared to participate in activities during the team's minor league portion of Spring Training, according to MLB.com's Jordan Bastian. (MLB.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Crow-Armstrong was a highly-regarded first-round pick of the Mets in 2020. Although he excelled during six games of Single-A action last season, a shoulder injury forced him out of action early in the year. Months later, he was traded to the Cubs during a deadline-day deal centered around Javier Baez. In Bastian's article, director of hitting Juston Stone was quoted saying, "I think the biggest difference with Pete this year is he might have the biggest exit velocity jump of anyone we have in camp. He's just way more physical. He's healthy. That's going to make a big difference." Crow-Armstrong has clearly taken great strides during his recovery and is a must-watch name heading into 2022.
