Alex Reyes could begin season in the bullpen

Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak stated that Alex Reyes may not be stretched out for a starting role by the start of the season. (Jeff Jones on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Based on the comments from Mozeliak, it sounds like Reyes could begin the year in the bullpen. Last year, Reyes pitched 72 innings notching 29 saves to pair with a 3.24 ERA and a 30 percent strikeout rate. The shortened spring training will cause Reyes to have less ramp-up time and likely lead to a bullpen role. Reyes showed success in the bullpen last season and could be a fit in the back-end with Giovanny Gallegos.
