The Seattle Mariners have resumed talks with Kris Bryant sources tell Jon Morosi of MLB Network, with President of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto saying that Seattle wants to add an "impact bat" at 3B, LF, and/or DH. (Jon Morosi on Twitter)
Bryant would certainly fit those needs listed out by Dipoto, as the Mariners likely join a handful of teams in pursuit of Bryant's talents. The former NL MVP finished last season with the San Francisco Giants and has shown the ability to still be a great hitter who can play above-average defense across the diamond. His addition to the Mariners would be a huge one given that the team struggled to produce runs all of last season.
