Anthony Rizzo hit his second triple of the year in extra inning win

by Nathaniel Schwartz | Yankees Correspondent | Mon, Jun 1st 3:14pm EDT

Anthony Rizzo had a 2-for-5 day with a big triple, one single, and no walks. The triple came in the bottom of the ninth inning, but he was unable to score after David Ross was unable to lay down an effective bunt. Rizzo's single came in the bottom of the 11th inning and almost knocked in the winning run but Dexter Fowler was called out at home plate (after a review).

Fantasy Impact:

Rizzo is going through a six-game RBI drought, but he was very close to braking it. While this is surely frustrating and concerning for owners in league play, this should not deter anyone from going after him in daily games. Rizzo is still batting .318 with a .439 OBP, and as long as he keeps collecting hits, he will knock in a few runs eventually.
