Fantasy Impact:
The Rangers need a third baseman after trading Isiah Kiner-Falefa and losing Josh Jung to injury. Nick Solak could fit that bill. He plated second base exclusively last season, but the signings of Corey Seager and Marcus Semien left him without a spot. Solak did play 11 games at third in 2019. Solak started 2021 hot at the plate, hitting .293 with seven home runs in April before tailing off hard. He did finish the season on a high note and could be a solid late-round target in drafts.
