Chris Davis gets another RBI

by James McGowan | Mon, Jun 1st 11:43pm EDT

The Orioles lost to the Houston Astros 5-2 on Monday. In the game, Chris Davis blasted an RBI double. Davis's double was inches away from going yard, which he has been doing more consistently as of late. (Baltimore Orioles Official Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This season Davis has struggled to be consistent at the plate, but he is still hitting for power despite the fact that he his struggled. Davis has a .226 AVG in 168 at bats, with 12 home runs, and 30 RBI. Davis has been a consistent power threat recently, and has seemed to find himself at the plate a little bit. While his numbers have been down a little this season, his AVG is up and he has started to find his power. Davis would be a solid pick up, for a team that wouldn't need to play him every single day and could work the match-ups. If Davis can turn it on as we start to get down the stretch of the season, then he would be great pick-up for a team looking for a power first baseman.
