Wil Myers may take batting practice Wednesday

Wil Myers may be ready to take the next step in his recovery. It is reported that he may take batting practice Wednesday. Bud Black said it was "more than likely" that Myers would travel with the team on its upcoming road trip. It is worth noting that he will be traveling with the team so he can stay in contact with the team doctors who have been involved with his recovery the last few weeks. (The San Diego Union-Tribune)
Fantasy Impact:
This is merely another step in his recovery which still has no publicly known return date. He has already started taking grounders and participating in outfield drills without pain. If he comes back the same, then he is a solid OF option in most leagues. I would stash him if I had the room. One clue to look for in the reports as he nears a return is any mention of decreased power, as it is not uncommon for the power to be slower to return .
