Masahiro Tanaka returns to the mound today

Masahiro Tanaka will make his first start this afternoon in over a month, since going on the DL with a right forearm strain and right wrist tendinitis.
Fantasy Impact:
The Yankees hope Tanaka can return to being the ace of this staff and remain injury free the rest of the year. He is expected to throw 80-85 pitches this afternoon, according to manager Joe Girardi. Tanaka had two minor league rehab starts and had a 4.50 ERA. He is 2-1 with a 3.22 ERA and a 0.94 WHIP in four starts this season.
