Pete Fairbanks was removed from Sunday's game against the Braves with a right lat strain after five pitches. He will be re-evaluated on Monday. (Neil Solondz on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Fairbanks was, at worst, next in line behind Andrew Kittredge for saves, and, at best, part of a committee in Tampa. Fairbanks has struggled with his control generally in the majors, but his strikeout stuff has always kept him relevant for save opportunities. Monitor the reports on Monday but expect him to miss at least a few weeks as of now.
