Fantasy Impact:
Pierzynski had the day off with the Braves giving Christian Bethancourt another look. After slowing down from his initial torrid start, Pierzynski has bounced back despite having a decreased role with a four-game hitting streak -- two of those being pinch hits. He feasts on RHPs and should be sat verses lefties (.188 SLG). Although he has the eighth most RBIs among catchers, he is still in a platoon situation with Bethancourt and must be used accordingly.
