Ken Giles has a tendon issue in his right middle finger and has been shut down from throwing for several weeks. (Daniel Kramer on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Giles seemed likely to factor into save opportunities for Seattle but that will be put on hold for the time being. Giles is returning from Tommy John surgery as well. He will be shut down from throwing for several weeks, so it is likely he does not pitch for the first month of the season.
