Yoenis Cespedes left Thursday's game against the A's after experiencing flu-like symptoms. This is a tough blow to the Tigers who are trying to figure out how to score runs.

This illness paves the way for home-grown rookie Daniel Fields to make his MLB debut. It hasn't gone well as he struck out in his first at-bat and made a costly error that marked Shane Greene's departure. Fields is likely headed back to Toledo once Rajai Davis returns Friday.
