On Thursday, the Baltimore Orioles beat the Houston Astros 3-2. The game saw Chris Davis drive an RBI single, to lead off the scoring for the O's. Davis's single helped lift the Orioles to the win on Thursday. (Baltimore Orioles Official Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The first baseman has been better as of late, his bat is improving and he is starting to knock in more runs. Davis is hitting .219 in 183 at bats, with 12 home runs, and 32 RBI. Davis's production has slowed since he seven RBI in four games. In the last six games Davis has slumped a little bit only getting two RBI and no home runs. Even though Davis had picked in up over those games, his production has slowed to a screeching halt. Davis has been extremely hot and cold this season, he has not been able to get out of the starting blocks. Even if he started to pick up his production he has always taken a step back production wise. If Davis can some how find a way to stay consistent for the rest of the season, the he would be a solid pick up for a team that is looking for a power bat. But as of right now, Davis would probably just be a good player to have on your bench. It'll be interesting to see if Davis can get himself back on track in the games to come.
