Wei-Yin Chen

Wei-Yin Chen has a solid outing

by James McGowan | Thu, Jun 4th 7:59pm EDT

On Thursday, the Baltimore Orioles beat the Houston Astros 3-2. Wei-Yen Chen went 6 1/3, giving up two runs on five hits, while walking two, and striking out nine. (Baltimore Orioles Official Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Chen looked solid today striking out his season high of nine batters. Even though Chen earned a no decision, he looked very good in his outing. Chen this season is 1-4, with a 3.18 ERA in 68 innings pitched, and 57 strike outs. Chen's season has been dominated by pretty good starts, with little to no offensive support. Chen would be a solid middle of the rotation guy for a team looking for some depth at their pitching position. Chen will look to get back into the win column in his next start.
