According to Jon Heyman, the San Diego Padres have traded catcher Victor Caratini to the Milwaukee Brewers. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)

Caratini had operated as the personal catcher for starting pitcher Yu Darvish prior to the trade. With the suspension of Pedro Severino for a violation of the performance enhancing drug agreement, this move provides Milwaukee with another solid catching option to pair with Omar Narvaez.
