Hunter Strickland records loss following brutal outing

by Andersen Pickard | Angels Correspondent | Tue, Apr 12th 9:05pm EDT

Reds reliever Hunter Strickland allowed four runs on three hits over the course of 0.1 innings against the Guardians on Tuesday. He entered a tied ballgame in the ninth but retired just one batter and earned the loss. He gave up a two-run homer along the way. Cincinnati fell to Cleveland, 10-5.

Fantasy Impact:

This was a turn of events for Strickland, who threw 1.2 scoreless innings against the Braves on Saturday. It's encouraging that the Reds trusted him in a high-leverage situation, but he let them down by giving up four runs. He is not a worthwhile fantasy option.
