Giants pitcher Sam Long tossed two scoreless innings Friday night, allowing two hits and striking out one while picking up the no-decision in the Giants' 7-1 win over the Nationals.
Fantasy Impact:
Long was called on to start with Alex Cobb unavailable Friday night and pitched well in an abbreviated start. The lefthander will continue to serve as a swingman who can pitch in relief or log a few innings in a spot start scenario.
