Bryce Elder walks six in loss to Marlins on Sunday

by Josh Thiessen | Braves Correspondent | Mon, Apr 25th 8:22pm EDT

Atlanta Braves SP Bryce Elder pitched 4 2/3 innings on Sunday, striking out four, walking six, and allowing five hits for two earned runs in the Braves' 5-4 loss to the Marlins.

Fantasy Impact:

Elder started off alright on the mound on Sunday as he had allowed no runs until the fifth inning. The Braves starting pitcher ended up being marked with the loss and seemed to lack control of the strike zone walking six batters. The 22 year old has an ERA of 4.30 but will remain in the Braves rotation, despite this he should not be rostered for the time being until he becomes more consistent.
