Zach Eflin allows one run in win over Rockies on Tuesday

by Dan Harris | Rays Correspondent | Tue, Apr 26th 11:04pm EDT

Zach Eflin allowed one run on two hits and a walk over six innings on Tuesday against the Rockies. He struck out three and earned the win, moving to 1-1.

Fantasy Impact:

Eflin needed to bounce back after giving up four runs in each of his last two starts. Tuesday's effort certainly counts, but he again failed to generate many swings and misses, with just seven total whiffs. Eflin is the classic "he won't hurt you" pitcher, but he's really just a rotation-filler for NL-only leagues given his lack of upside. He will take on the Mets in his next start.
