Luis Severino pitched five innings on Sunday afternoon, allowing three earned runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out four. He got a no-decision, though the Yankees did win 6-4 over the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
Severino wasn't particularly sharp in this one. He threw 95 pitches, but only 57 were strikes, and he gave up a homer to Michael Taylor. He remains 2-0 with a 3.75 ERA and 1.29 WHIP. Fantasy managers who roster him should watch the next couple of starts as he has looked inconsistent of late. He should still offer good win equity if he can keep his ratios at a reasonable level.
