Zach Eflin hit hard in loss to Mets on Sunday

Zach Eflin allowed six runs (five earned) on eight hits and one walk over 4 1/3 innings on Sunday against the Mets. He struck out three and took the loss, falling to 1-2.
Fantasy Impact:
Eflin was hanging in there until the fifth inning when he loaded the bases with one and the bullpen allowed all three inherited runners to score. He certainly didn't have his best stuff, as he induced just six swings and misses and had a 22% CSW rate. Eflin has been better than his numbers show, with a FIP of just 2.84 and a BB/9 rate of 1.88. But with little strikeout upside and a porous defense behind him, his expected stats will often be better than his real ones. He will take on the Mets again in his next start.
