David Peterson returned to Triple-A after Tuesday's start against Braves

by Dan Harris | Mets Correspondent | Tue, May 3rd 10:41pm EDT

David Peterson was returned to Triple-A after allowing three runs on four hits and three walks while striking out six over five innings against the Braves on Tuesday. (Anthony DiComo on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The Mets didn't need to use an option because Peterson was the 27th man for the doubleheader against the Braves. He's pitched very well when called upon this year, and now has a 1.89 ERA and 1.11 WHIP. He's likely to be used only when the Mets need a sixth starter, but those in NL-only leagues should keep him stashed, as he'll likely be needed at some point again this year.
