Trevor May placed on IL with right triceps inflammation

The Mets placed Trevor May on the 15-day IL with right triceps inflammation on Tuesday. The team recalled Adonis Medina from Triple-A to take May's spot on the roster. (Anthony DiComo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
May admitted he wasn't fully healthy on Monday after getting knocked around a bit, and his ERA ballooned to 8.64. It's not the first time May has battled triceps issues, and given the Mets' place in the standings, they'll likely be careful with him. If you're rostering him in NL-only formats, feel free to move on.
