Oakland Athletics SP Paul Blackburn pitched 4 1/3 innings on Tuesday, striking out five, walking one, and allowing six hits for three earned runs in the A's 10-7 loss to the Rays.
Fantasy Impact:
Blackburn's work ended up being all for not as the A's blew the game in the 10th inning allowing five runs to score. Regardless of the score, due to the A's pitcher not making five innings he would not have been eligible to receive the win anyway. Blackburn is one of only two A's pitchers that warrant roster consideration at the moment.
