Boston Red Sox OF Alex Verdugo went 0-for-4 from the plate with a strikeout during a 8-0 loss to the Angels.

Fantasy Impact:

Vertigo's struggles continued into Thursday as he posted an 0-for-4 night from the plate including a strikeout. Across his last five games, the 25-year-old is hitting 3-for-21 (.142), dragging his average down to.217 on the season. The veteran's next chance to play comes against the White Sox this weekend in which he has had fairly good success. During his career, Verdugo is hitting .304 with seven hits, a homer, six RBI and five runs scored in seven games.
