Arizona Diamondbacks SP Merrill Kelly pitched 8 2/3 innings on Friday, striking out eight, walking two, and allowing seven hits for one earned run in the Diamondbacks' 4-1 win over the Rockies.

Kelly has been absolutely fantastic so far this year as he now has his third win on the season and boasts an ERA of 1.22. The Diamondbacks starting pitcher came a third of an inning shy of pitching a complete game but had to be pulled due to allowing a single to bring the tying run to the plate having thrown 106 pitches already.
