Raimel Tapia drives in three on Saturday against Guardians

by Dan Harris | Sat, May 7th 11:54pm EDT

Raimel Tapia went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBI in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Guardians.

Fantasy Impact:

Despite the big game, Tapia, usually a reliable source of batting average, is hitting just .222 in the early going. He may be pressing a bit with Toronto, as his 2.1% walk rate and 47.9% O-Swing% are both by far a career-worst. He's batting low in the order which should limit his chances for runs scored, which is usually one of the categories in which he contributes. His three steals to this point simply aren't enough to outweigh how little he helps in other categories, so he doesn't need to be rostered, or at least not started, in anything other than AL-only leagues.
