Elieser Hernandez worked 5 1/3 innings in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Diamondbacks, giving up four runs (three earned) on six hits and a walk while striking out five.
Fantasy Impact:
Early on, It looked as if it was going to be the second straight short, tough outing against the Diamondbacks for Hernandez. Instead, after allowing two runs in the first and another in the second, the Marlins righty battled into the sixth inning and kept his club in the game. Still, his numbers through six starts on the year are quite ugly. Hernandez will carry a 6.37 ERA and 1.42 WHIP into a home start against the Brewers on Sunday.
