Kris Bryant is going to receive a cortisone shot this week in hopes of speeding up the healing of his injured back. (NBC Sports)
Fantasy Impact:
What initially seemed like it could be a short stint on the IL is turning out to be somewhat lengthy. Once he receives the shot, he will be shut down for a couple days before continuing his rehab. A minor league stint is probable following that. Mid-to-late May is now the target return for the Rockies slugger.
