The Mets placed James McCann on the 10-day IL on Friday with a fractured left hamate bone. He is expected to be sidelined six weeks. (New York Mets on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
McCann had been out because of wrist soreness but said he expected to be back in the lineup on Friday. A morning X-ray showed the fracture, however, which will cost McCann a large chunk of time. Tomas Nido should see the bulk of the catching opportunities in the meantime, and McCann is a drop in all formats.
