Cleveland Guardians right-hander Aaron Civale allowed six runs over 4 2/3 innings of work in a 12-8 loss to the Twins on Friday. He struck out five and walked two.
Fantasy Impact:
Civale allowed just two runs through the first four innings but was tagged for four runs in the fifth. The veteran hurler has struggled this year, posting a 1-3 record, 9.85 ERA, and 27 strikeouts in 24 2/3 innings. Fantasy gamers still rostering him can’t put him in the starting lineup until he strings together a few good outings in a row.
