Initial evaluation showed that Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson does not have a concussion. He exited Saturday's game against the Pirates after taking a ball off his facemask. (Cincinnati.com)

Fantasy Impact:

This is good news for the Reds and Stephenson, who already has three concussions on his injury history (including one in 2022 that caused him to miss two weeks). "We’ll have him reevaluated just to be sure, but that’s a real relief in a big way," manager David Bell told members of the media. "We caught a break there." Stephenson has been one of the best catchers in baseball from an offensive perspective, slashing .324/.390/.574 with four homers, 19 RBI, six walks, and 20 strikeouts.
