Manuel Margot (hamstring) placed on 10-day IL

The Rays placed Manuel Margot on the 10-day IL on Sunday with a right hamstring strain. The team recalled Ralph Garza Jr. from Triple-A Durham to take Margot's spot on the roster. (Tampa Bay Rays on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Margot had been trying to play through his hamstring discomfort by DHing in the first two games of the series, but he obviously wasn't feeling 100%. The fact that he managed to play at all after feeling discomfort is encouraging that this won't be a long-term injury, but for a player like Margot who relies on his legs, it makes sense to give him as much time as he needs. Harold Ramirez will likely see an uptick in playing time with Margot on the shelf.
