Michael Pineda (finger) placed on 15-day IL

The Tigers placed Michael Pineda on the 15-day injured list on Sunday with a right middle finger fracture. The team reinstated Victor Reyes from the 10-day IL in a corresponding move. (Detroit Tigers PR on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Pineda fractured his finger during his start on Saturday, and although the Tigers waited for some further tests after determining the injury, it was always clear Pineda would end up on the IL. There's no word on how much time Pineda will miss but expect it to last longer than the minimum stay. Although he hasn't been missing many bats this year, Pineda does have a 3.22 ERA and 1.07 WHIP, and he is worth stashing in AL-only formats.
