Oakland Athletics SP Frankie Montas pitched six innings on Sunday, striking out 12, walking one, and allowing four hits for two earned runs in the A's 4-1 loss to the Angels.
Fantasy Impact:
Montas was fantastic on Sunday despite taking the loss as he struck out a season high 12 batters in the A's loss. Unfortunately for the A's starting pitcher the team was unable to provide run support which led to him picking up his fourth loss of the season for a record of 2-4 on the season and remains a strong roster option even with an ERA of 3.67.
