Whit Merrifield went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs in an 8-7 Kansas City victory over Colorado on Sunday.

Whit Merrifield hit his second home run of the season and continues to wield a hot bat after an ice cold start to his season. Merrfield has hit safely in six straight games, collecting 10 hits during that span and boosting his average from .135 to .183 in the process. He has also driven in seven of his 13 RBIs on the past six games. Merrifield owners should be ecstatic with Whit in the past week after a month-plus of nothing.
