Brett Phillips enjoys big day vs. Detroit
by Andersen Pickard | White Sox Correspondent | Tue, May 17th 7:46am EDT
Rays outfielder Brett Phillips went 3-for-3 with a single, double, and solo homer against the Tigers on Monday. He scored both of Tampa Bay's runs as they ultimately fell to Detroit by a score of 3-2.
Fantasy Impact:
Phillips is slashing .185/.254/.338 with three homers, seven RBI, five walks, and 29 strikeouts this season. He has also stolen three bases on three attempts. Despite being a fan-favorite among the baseball community, Phillips' subpar stats have stripped him of any fantasy relevance.
