Carlos Correa to return to lineup on Tuesday

by Devon Bruce | Twins Correspondent | Tue, May 17th 12:31pm EDT

Carlos Correa is expected to return to the Minnesota Twins lineup on Tuesday after missing 10 games due to a right finger contusion. He was originally placed on the 10-day IL on May 10 (retroactive to May 6).

Fantasy Impact:

A welcome return for the Twins starting shortstop as he will join his teammates for a road tilt against Oakland. Correa is hitting .255/.320/.372 with two home runs and 11 RBI so far this season. Fantasy managers surely hope that he hits the ground running and starts to produce the numbers they expected when they drafted him. Royce Lewis has filled in at shortstop admirably, hitting .286 with a home run and four RBI over Correa's 10-game absence, and looks like he will stay with the club for now.
